Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a motivated Final QA Technician to join a dynamic team in California. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to support both the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and Final Quality Assurance (Final QA) activities. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in ensuring product performance and customer satisfaction while working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production.

Responsibilities

RMA Support (Returns & Customer Service)

• Process and evaluate returned products (RMA units) to determine root cause of failure.
• Document findings and update internal systems with accurate data.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding return status, findings, and resolutions.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams on failure trends and corrective actions.
• Assist with tracking and managing RMA inventory.

Final QA Support (Production Quality)

• Perform final inspection and testing of products prior to shipment.
• Verify products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Follow established test procedures, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Identify and report defects or inconsistencies to appropriate teams.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for outgoing shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics, or quality (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of electronic assemblies or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (customer interaction required).
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry; ERP systems a plus).

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 1st Shift

Benefits

Competitive compensation with a pay range of $28 to $30 per hour.
